Win32_BootConfiguration

The Win32_BootConfiguration class represents the boot configuration of a Win32 system.

Quick Start

Properties

In this WMI class, all WMI properties are read-only. You can only read values but not change them.

BootDirectory

Data type String

The BootDirectory property indicates the path to the system files required for booting the system.

Example: C:\Windows.

Caption

Data type String

A short textual description (one-line string) of the CIM_Setting object.

ConfigurationPath

Data type String

The ConfigurationPath property indicates the path to the configuration files. This value may be similar to the value in the BootDirectory.

Description

Data type String

A textual description of the CIM_Setting object.

LastDrive

Data type String

The LastDrive property indicates the last drive letter to which a physical drive is assigned.

Example: E:

Name

Data type String

The Name property indicates the name of the boot configuration. It is an identifier for the boot configuration.

ScratchDirectory

Data type String

The ScratchDirectory property indicates the directory where temporary files can reside during boot time.

SettingID

Data type String

The identifier by which the CIM_Setting object is known.

TempDirectory

Data type String

The TempDirectory property indicates the directory where temporary files are stored.

Example: C:\TEMP
