ISESteroids comes with built-in version control for the typical one-man PowerShell developer. If you are looking for other version control systems and support for it, you may want to take a look at the brand new TortoiseSVN version control support in ISESteroids!
Adding Support for Custom Commands
Frank DiGiandomenico has created the awesome SVN version control support for ISESteroids, and in his blog article, he explains in great detail what it does – and how he implemented it.
ISESteroids is full of features, and some are more visible than others. Part of its feature set is a group of new cmdlets that enable you to add your very own custom context menu commands. This way, you can integrate whatever logic you want right into the ISE UI.
Add GIT Integration and More…
So whether you would like to add GIT support, or add new context commands for entirely different purposes – please take a look at Franks article. He gives you a great walk-through on how to add your favorite commands and tools to ISESteroids.
If you have any questions, or even better, if you have created your own ISESteroids extensions and would be willing to share, please let us know. Either leave a comment, or contact me directly through our support forum.
